Research Interests
As a legal theoretician of culture, my main interests lie at the intersections of law and memory, sociology of law, cultural heritage law, public international law (in particular maritime law), although I am also exploring the law of Hong Kong and Macau SARs and political science in the research.
My recently published book ('Pirates and Maritime Law: Legal Constructs and Cultural Perceptions' Routledge 2027) focuses on a comprehensive examination of piracy and law's relationship through a popular culture lens.
