What is human resource management?

Human resource management (HRM) is about the relationship between employers and employees and involves the effective management of people in an organisation. HRM includes analysing jobs, planning personnel needs, recruiting the right people for the right job, evaluating performance and resolving workplace disputes.

Why study human resource management?
