Strathclyde Business School is actively contributing to another of Glasgow’s innovation districts, the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland (AMIDS).
High-value manufacturing is a strategic priority of the District and it’s backed with significant public-sector investment from both the Scottish Government and the UK Government.
AMIDS is a ‘community-of-practice' with renowned international manufacturers such as Rolls Royce, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Peak Scientific, Terumo Aortic and Doosan Babcock, and is located next to Glasgow Airport, Scotland’s principal long-haul airport and largest charter hub.
