Strathclyde Business School has been offering postgraduate programmes at international centres since 1988. We have offered an MBA programme in Oman since 2000 and it is one of seven international centres around the world.
Our MBA programme is designed for busy executives who need to combine career and family commitments with the demands of MBA studies. Wherever you study, our MBA programme has the same content and structure and our faculty members travel to our international centres to run intensive seminars, with continuous support for our students provided by our Oman centre staff. [In-country teaching by Strathclyde faculty is subject to prevailing Covid-19 guidelines.] Students have the opportunity to take electives in summer school classes in Glasgow, subject to availability.
Strathclyde Business School is triple accredited by the three international accrediting bodies, AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB. AMBA specifically accredits MBA programmes.
The MSc Finance course is taught on a part time basis over two years. It covers the same syllabus as the course provided at the University of Strathclyde and students in Oman take the same examinations as those on the full-time course.
All our teaching is supported by the strong research carried out by our faculty. The Research Excellence Framework (REF) in 2014 rated Strathclyde Business School in the top 10 schools in the UK for the quality and breadth of its research and was also rated highly for research impact, a measure of how the research impacts on practise in business.
Whatever you choose to study, you will be taught by Strathclyde faculty and supported by our centre staff in Oman. Once you graduate, you will join a network of thousands of alumni around the world.
