Strathclyde Business Network

Founded in 2015, Strathclyde Business Network is a student led organisation at Strathclyde Business School.

The organisation aims to facilitate the development of sustainable relationships with industry, and channel the substantial interest in business and entrepreneurship amongst students, by providing a platform for them to discuss real industry issues, engage and network with industry leaders to share their academic knowledge into real life practice.

The Strathclyde Business Network's team is dedicated towards stimulating a robust dialogue about business, investment & entrepreneurship incorporating practitioner & academic perspectives, by organising several events throughout the academic year.

Strathclyde Business Network builds initiatives designed to foster knowledge sharing, facilitate discussion and enable networking opportunities with the very best business professional industry.

This student led initiative brings thought provoking, experience based teachings to help students contextualize theoretical learning by inviting some of the biggest graduate employers in the UK for discussions, events and workshops.

The network is also the organiser of the Glasgow Business Summit, which is the first ever student led business conference in Scotland for students and professionals to discuss and debate both international and domestic business opportunities and challenges. Glasgow Business Summit 2017 discussed the challenges and opportunities presented by the current digital revolution which is disrupting industries, shaping strategies and defining societal, social and business contexts.
