International Exchange
Students from our international exchange partner institutions can attend Strathclyde Business School as part of a bilateral exchange programme for either 1 or 2 semesters.
How to Apply
Before submitting an application, students must be nominated by their home institution via the University’s online nomination and application system (Mobility Online). All exchange partners should have received login details and a nomination user guide from our Recruitment and International Office. If partners have any queries or require any support with online nomination, please contact the University’s Recruitment & International Office at international.exchange@strath.ac.uk.
Once nominated, students will receive an email inviting them to register with Mobility Online to enable them to submit a full exchange application. Students normally have two weeks to make a full application from the date you register with the system.
As part of the application process, you will be required to upload the following documents:
- Current academic transcript
- Academic reference
- Copy of the student’s passport information page
Partner institutions can track the status of their student’s application by logging on to Mobility Online.

Language Requirements
Partner universities are relied upon to select students with a good level of English equivalent to B2 and above (CEFR) or IELTS 6.5 (with no individual test score below 5.5).
Student Housing
International exchange (ie non-Erasmus) students will normally be guaranteed student housing provided they apply by the deadline indicated. Students can apply for student housing as an integrated part of the online application process.
Nomination and Application Deadlines
For students commencing study in Semester 1 (September):
- Nomination deadline: 1st May
- Application deadline: 15th May
For students commencing study in Semester 2 (January):
- Nomination deadline: 1st October
- Application deadline: 15th October
