What were your reasons for taking on a postgraduate degree at Strathclyde?
I decided to take a postgraduate degree because I wanted to get more advanced knowledge in my field. In my kind of field taking a postgraduate degree gives you an edge when applying for jobs.
I had to find universities that do only biochemistry, of which I found only three and Strathclyde was one of them. After looking through the modules I would be doing, I found them really interesting as the course covers a wide range of things. So, I decided Strathclyde was the best option.
What do you like about your course and Strathclyde?
I love the variety of my course and how I can learn different aspects. The lecturers are very understanding and kind and I also love the lab at Strathclyde.

What specialist knowledge/professional skills have you developed whilst studying the course?
I’ve been able to improve my lab skills and know about some practical work. I’ve also learnt about large data analysis which will be useful for me after I graduate.
