Safety Challenges at Sea: Data and Evidence
The report, which is prepared jointly by the Department of Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering at the University of Strathclyde and Bespoke Consultancy and Research from HSE, critically evaluates the maritime occupational injuries and fatalities in international merchant shipping over the last 20 years by reviewing the reported studies and publications; available primary data sources and taxonomies around the world; and the most common causes of occupational injuries and fatalities.
