Slawomir Dzido Economics PhD studentI am a PhD student in the Department of Economics, Strathclyde Business School. In 2019, I graduated from the University of Strathclyde with an MSc degree in Economics & Finance. To date, my main research interests have oscillated around developing countries, macroeconomics and political economics, focusing on the effects of democracy on various aspects of private investment. Recently, however, I have been attracted to the unprecedented importance and intriguing complexity of environmental and energy issues in economics. My doctoral project, entitled “Financing the Climate Transition: The Role of Macroeconomic Policymakers” is supervised by Dr David Comerford and Dr Grant Allan. I look forward to contributing an economic perspective to the C-INSPRE programme.
