NewsThe role of ministerial policy coordination on energy policy and energy poverty

Despina Alexiadou, Chancellor's Fellow within the School of Government and Public Policy was recently awarded a British Academy/Leverhulme grant to explore "The role of ministerial policy coordination on energy policy and energy poverty".

The grant is funding research to (a) to explore how the institutional organisation of the departments of Energy, Environment, and Housing shapes energy policy and (b) to evaluate the latter’s effectiveness on a battery of policies with a focus on increasing energy efficiency in homes and reducing energy poverty across 15 European countries from 1990 to 2019.
