The Institute for Inspiring Children’s Futures aims to support children and young people globally in achieving their potential in life.
We bring together the existing expertise of the Centre for Excellence for Children’s Care and Protection (CELCIS), the Centre for Youth & Criminal Justice (CYCJ) and academics and staff members from across the University of Strathclyde, and beyond. You can find out more about our vision in our brochure. You can also keep up-to-date with Inspiring Children's Futures through our Vimeo channel.
...The title alone, with the word 'inspire' in it, is enough to cause one to pause and celebrate. That the new Institute will bring sharper focus to underlying causality is critically important to all of our work for children. It is only with this deeper understanding that we are able to address the root of what harms or inhibits health children, and in turn breaks vicious cycles.

CELCIS is a leading improvement and innovation centre in Scotland. We improve children’s lives by supporting people and organisations to drive long-lasting change in the services they need, and the practices used by people responsible for their care. CELCIS is core funded by the Scottish Government.
