60th Anniversary Conference of the Association of Law Teachers
Welcome
The Association of Law Teachers is a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive community of academics, professionals and practitioners engaged in legal education across countries. Details about the Association of Law Teachers, including annual membership information, can be found at https://www.lawteacher.ac.uk/
Members support legal learning in schools, colleges, universities, and professional sectors, on campus, face-to-face, and online. It aims to inspire and celebrate excellence in the teaching of law, and to share the understanding and practice of legal learning.
The Association of Law Teachers has been at the forefront of legal education in the UK since it was founded in 1965. Over the years, it has served as a platform for collaboration, innovation and the exchange of ideas among legal educators, with the annual conference acting as the main event for its activities.
The University of Strathclyde is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee in 2024-25. We are delighted to be hosting the 60th Anniversary Association of Law Teachers Annual Conference and bringing the conference back to Scotland. The conference will run both in person and online in a hybrid format on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th April 2025.
