The relationship between crime, mental health and justice could hardly be more pressing. Yet it is a subject which has tended to neglected.  Key questions which will be tackled at this conference include:

  • What is the impact of mental health on offending?
  • How can services be designed to reduce the impact of mental health upon individuals (including survivors, families, etc.)?
  • What are the most effective ways of dealing with those affected by mental health who are going through the justice system?
  • How should the balance between care and control be decided?

“We are thrilled, therefore, to be able to present such an outstanding cast of speakers. The conference is an important opportunity for all those who are interested in the future crime, justice and mental health to come together to learn, exchange views and experience and debate the future direction.
