Memorandum of Understanding signed between Kasetsart University's Faculty of Social Sciences and the University of Strathclyde's Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, represented by Professor Ian Rivers

The Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences have agreed a new partnership with Bangkok's Kasetsart University which will involve exploring new opportunities for students and academic staff.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed during a visit by delegates from Kasetsart's Faculty of Social Sciences - including Cheewin Mallikamarl, Kasetsart's Deputy Head of the Law Department and a former Strathclyde Law School PhD student.
Discussions covered a number of collaborative opportunities, including short courses, Study Abroad links, double degrees, articulation routes, visiting academic teaching and research.
“We are very pleased to have welcomed partners from Kasetart University to the campus to discuss our faculties’ strategies, research impact, values and commitment to student experience," said Associate Principal and Executive Dean Prof. Ian Rivers.

Originally established in 1943 to promote agricultural education, Kasetsart is now Thailand's largest university with four campuses across Bangkok and courses covering humanities, social sciences, science and engineering.
