Please note: in-person fees includes a welcome drink, morning and afternoon tea/coffee & biscuits, lunch; invitation to the civic reception on Friday.

Not included in the registration fee: Evening dinner and Ceilidh on Saturday night at the National Piping Centre. Cost £60 per person. Includes welcome drinks, 3 course dinner, dancing with instruction from a well-established local ceilidh band. Starting from 6.30pm. Ceilidh only tickets are available at £20 per person. Starting from 8pm. All welcome but there is a maximum number of spaces so please book early. 

Our online shop accepts card payments only. If you wish to pay by bank transfer, contact us at pce-europe-glasgow25@strath.ac.uk to request an invoice.

Day rate delegates are invited to join the pre-symposium (online community meeting and live-streamed keynote speech) online.

Accessibility

We want to ensure the PCE Europe symposium is accessible and welcoming for everyone.

A dedicated Quiet Room will be available throughout the event, along with a Reserved Accessible Seating area in the foyer where refreshments are served, for delegates with accessibility requirements. Our Support Hub will be staffed by volunteers each day who can answer questions and offer practical assistance.

If you have additional access needs and would like support in moving between sessions, please let the Support Hub know each morning which parallel sessions you plan to attend. We will reserve a suitable seat for you so that you do not need to rush or navigate busy spaces.

We chose the Technology and Innovation Centre because it is a highly accessible venue. It offers level access to the building, lift access to all floors, wheelchair spaces in every auditorium and induction loops in all rooms. Accessible and gender-neutral toilets are clearly signposted on every floor. Designated safe areas are available throughout the building for anyone who may not be able to use stairs during an emergency evacuation. You can take a virtual tour of the TIC and view the floor plans in advance of the event.

Bursary Fund

Update: All bursaries have now been allocated.

Thanks to the generosity of PCE Europe, the organising committee can offer 10 bursaries to provide financial support to people who would not otherwise be able to attend the 2025 PCE Europe Symposium in November (in Glasgow and online).

The bursaries can be used to attend online or in person. If attending online, the bursary will cover the whole of your registration fee. If attending in person, the amount of each bursary will be approximately £200.

We will award the bursaries one a first come, first served basis. To ensure we can let as many people as possible know about the opportunity, we invite expressions of interest from Monday 7 April.

Following PCE Europe's example, the bursaries are for people experiencing difficult financial situations or economic disparities. We trust you to decide if this description fits your position. All we ask you to tell us is if you want to attend the symposium online or in person.
