Equally Safe in Higher Education"What Works" Seminars

The Equally Safe in Higher Education Toolkit developed at the University of Strathclyde supports the university sector in developing their approaches to GBV prevention.  Now known as the Equally Safe in Colleges and Universities (ESCU) Project continues to support the contribution of Scottish colleges and universities to the Scottish Government’s Equally Safe Delivery Plan 2017-2021. A key aim of the Project is to facilitate Knowledge Exchange (KE) across the college and university, public and voluntary sectors through the ESCU Community of Practice, the ESCU Knowledge Hub and by the co-production and dissemination of learning and good practice.

The Project works closely with the Scottish Government’s ESCU Working Groups, key partners and stakeholders in the implementation of the Equally Safe in Colleges and Universities Workplan 2019 – 2020.  Building on the success of the three ESCU Regional events held in early 2019, we are now hosting a series of half day ‘What Works’ regional seminars on themes which emerged from participants at those events.
