Humanities & Social SciencesUndergraduate placements

Placements for all.

Work placements are at the heart of our undergraduate programmes. Every one of our flexible BA options gives students the chance to gain valuable industry experience as part of a credit-bearing work placement class in their third or fourth year.

Placements give students the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in a relevant workplace setting, helping you to develop professionally and personally while adding to your CV.

We work with partners in the private, public and third sectors to develop meaningful opportunities for hands-on learning that will prepare our students for life beyond graduation.

Learning through practice

Adam studied our Work Based Learning module and completed a placement at PLZ Soccer. Find out what he thought about his experience.

You just can't get that experience without going out and actually doing the work to a distinct deadline.
