Student Help Zone

Safe Home Scheme

The Strathclyde Union set up the Safe Home Scheme in partnership with Glasgow Taxis.

If you're a student, and you're fearful for your safety, but have no money for transport to a safe place, this allows you to get a taxi and pay for the cost at a later date.

Simply ask to use the scheme and show the driver your student ID, either on the app or the physical card.
