Notification of Industrial Action April 2023
UCU (the University and College Union) has called upon its members to take industrial action relating to the 2022-23 national pay negotiations.
UCU action has notified the University of continuous action short of a strike including a marking and assessment boycott with effect from 20 April 2023 in relation to the current pay dispute.
Staff who are UCU members and who are considering participation in the action short of strike including a marking and assessment boycott should note the University Position on Industrial Action. Further information can be found in the Marking and Assessment Boycott FAQs.
UCU members who choose to participate in the marking and assessment boycott, are asked to complete and submit the online confirmation of participation in industrial action form by no later than Friday 28 April. Staff can also confirm they are no longer participating in the boycott and that they have resumed full duties including marking and assessment by using the end of participation form and by also informing their Head of Department / School.
You must be logged into your Strathclyde account to complete the online forms. Please do not complete the forms on behalf of colleagues.
If you are unable to use this form but still wish to confirm your participation in industrial action, please contact humanresources@strath.ac.uk for an alternative submission method.
