Library zoning makes it easy to find the perfect study environment.

The colour of the walls and pillars show what type of zone each Level is. You'll also see colour-coded signs in the staircases.

Think of our colour-coding as a traffic light:

Pink Silent zone
  • Level 1
  • Level 4
  • Level 5
Orange Quiet zone
  • Level 3
  • Level 4
  • Level 5
Green Group study zone
  • Level 2
  • Level 3

What's allowed in each zone

Silent
  • No talking
  • Mobile phones set to silent mode. Please move to a group study zone (green zone) for voice calls.
  • Drinks in containers with lids
  • Sweets and small snacks
Quiet
  • Voices kept low

There may be some talking on these floors as our staff work to answer customer queries. Please choose a seat away from the desk if you do not want to be disturbed. For complete silence, please go to Level 1.
