The Occupational Health Service monitors the health of any member of staff or student whose work, including course work exposes them to either a respiratory sensitiser or allergen. Under the COSHH Regulations (2005) relevant personnel are required to attend for health surveillance prior to commencing work and at regular intervals thereafter. This will detect signs of any problems as soon as possible and will allow appropriate action to be taken.
