New Project Launched

Youth Justice Voices: Let’s Drive Change

The Centre for Youth & Criminal Justice (CYCJ) and Scottish Throughcare and After Care Forum (Staf) have launched a new project: Youth Justice Voice Participation Project. This is a national three year project funded by the Life Changes Trust, to creatively explore their experiences and to co-produce tools for learning and solutions for change.

The aim of this project is to ensure that the participation culture which has grown up around care experienced young people can become fully inclusive of those with experience of the justice system. The project hopes to address the deficit encountered by young people in the justice system by creating more opportunities for young people to shape the services that seek to support them.

The project team are seeking young people aged between 16 to 25 with experience of the care and justice systems to join their new participation project. For more information or to get involved contact ruth@staf.scot
