    Strathclyde Health and Wellbeing Event

    New Year, new you? All staff and students are invited to this event showcasing the support we provide at Strathclyde to help you on your health and wellbeing journey. Strath Cafes will have multiple suppliers showcasing their products that support gut health and brain function, as well as live demonstrations on how you can eat healthily on a budget.

    Do You Identify as Deaf or Have a Hearing Impairment? Inclusive Experience Share

    This event is open to everyone, but it is especially for deaf students and those with hearing impairments across all levels (UG, PG, and PGR). We aim to create a safe and supportive space where students can share their hearing related experiences in classes, labs, and other university activities. This will help us to understand the challenges, as well as exploring practical ways to improve support

    Join Dr. Kiani Jeacock, Teaching Associate in SIPBS, for a personal and thought-provoking talk in recognition of Black History Month. Drawing on her research career in biochemistry and neurodegeneration, and her experiences as a woman of colour in STEM, Kiani reflects on the intersection of scientific discovery, identity and social change in an exciting exploration of science and experience.

    Breaking the Mould: Embracing Dis/ability in Mathematics, Statistics and Life

    Join us for an inspiring event at the University of Strathclyde, celebrating the career journeys and achievements of mathematicians and statisticians living with a disability. The day will also include a pedagogical talk to share best practices in supporting visually impaired students and provides insights from the recently launched white paper by the National Association of Disabled Staff Network
