David Elder Lecture 2017/18 Review
Glasgow Science Centre began running the David Elder lecture series in partnership with the Physics Department at the University of Strathclyde in November 2015. Since launch we have delivered 25 lectures, engaging with a total of 5,077 participants. Evening lectures have been held for the public (3,512 attendees) and daytime lectures for schools (1,565 attendees). This report summarises the 2017/18 programme and plans for 2018/9.

David Elder Lecture series
The David Elder lecture series has been announced and tickets are available. These public talks from expert astronomers continues the tradition of astronomy lectures in Glasgow which began with the first David Elder Lecture in 1905. Running from September through March, the David Elder lectures are presented in partnership with and hosted by the Glasgow Science Centre.
