Advanced Higher days

University of Strathclyde, Department of Physics will host the following Advanced Higher Physics days this year:

Friday 13^th December and Monday 16^th  December from 10:00 - 15:00 in Room 317 John Anderson Building.

Due to space restrictions in the teaching laboratory, numbers will be limited and attendees will be split into two groups (A & B). The programme for each day will be:

Group A

10:00 - 10:10 Introduction and Welcome

10:10 - 12:00 Talks related to the AH syllabus

12:00 - 13:00 Lunch (provided)

13:00 - 15:00 Laboratory Work

Group B

10:00 - 10:10 Introduction and Welcome

10:10 - 12:00 Laboratory Work

12:00 - 13:00 Lunch (provided)

13:00 - 15:00 Talks related to the AH syllabus

To reserve your place please register at  https://ewds3.strath.ac.uk/scienceatstrathclyde/PhysicsAdvHigher by Friday 6th December. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Please note that this event is not intended for pupils carrying out their Advanced Higher Investigations, although any data that they gather may be useful for that. Separate arrangements can be made for pupils to carry out their investigations here by contacting us using the email address study@phys.strath.ac.uk  and we will be happy to help if we can.
