QuForce Demo Day, Most Novel award

Strathclyde MSc students, Siddharth Rangnekar and Nizar Lethif, have won the Most Novel award for their work on “Asymmetric Bases Cloning: A Novel Approach to Cloning-based Attacks on BB84” at the QuForce Demo Day. They were mentored by Daniel Oi (Strathclyde) and Alex Khan (Harrisburg) in a project utilising the IonQ quantum processor on Google Cloud to investigate the security of quantum key distribution against quantum computer attacks.
