Personal statement

My primary research interests are in Labour, Health, and Public Economics. More specifically, my research primarily considers the effectiveness of public programmes in improving key outcomes, particularly for the disadvantaged in society, the presents theme of my thesis. As part of this theme, my current work explores PFL and abortion in the U.S., and prisoner mentoring programmes in Scotland and England. Outside of my PhD, I have conducted behavioural health experiments which evaluate how the U.K. public perceives important problems in population ethics, such as inequality and population size.
