Personal statement

Dr Allazadeh received his BS/MSc degree in manufacturing technology from the University of Miskolc in Hungary, MSc degree in mechanical engineering from Brown University in the USA, and PhD in mechanical engineering and material science from the University of Pittsburgh in the USA. His past academic positions are teaching assistance and two post-doctorate contracts at the University of Pittsburgh, assistant professor at Wespreme University (Panonia), research fellow at Hungarian academy of sciences, and associate professor at Obudai University, successively.

His past industrial engineering job include working in General Electric, BayZoltan research institute collaborating with Alcoa Company, TechnoSoft, and ANSYS. He has promoted his carrier reputations by demonstrating his professional engineering works and aptitudes at his current position as manufacturing engineer in the forming team of the AFRC. He was granted CEng MIMechE chartered engineering status from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in 2016.

The main line of his research interests has been studying the behaviour of materials (metallic, non-metallic, composites, and bio) and material properties’ modifications in response to applied external loads or internal stresses (e.g. thermal, mechanical, magnetic, radioactive, and biological) within given functional conditions and material working environment.

Finite Element Analysis of Hydroforming Process
Elsayed, Ahmed (Principal Investigator) Allazadeh, Mohammad (Research Co-investigator)
Finite element (FE) analysis was performed to investigate the feasibility of hydroforming a thick stainless-steel tray. The simulation results will provide information about the approach to form special thick stainless steel tray and the optimal design needed to form such thick component.
02-Jan-2024 - 12-Jan-2024
Finite Element Analysis of Pressing Process of Thick Stainless Steel Tray
Allazadeh, Mohammad (Research Co-investigator) Elsayed, Ahmed (Principal Investigator)
Finite element FE analysis was performed to investigate the feasibility of pressing a thick stainless-steel tray. The simulation results will provide information about the approach to form particular stainless steel tray and the optimal design needed to form such thick component.
02-Jan-2024 - 12-Jan-2024
NMIS_ CORE_05278_W3_HIP of the nickel billets with TWI
Allazadeh, Mohammad (Principal Investigator) Bucconi, Marco (Principal Investigator) ElRakayby, Hosam (Principal Investigator)
3 grades of Inconel 718 material produced on powder metallurgy and HIP will be analysed
