Personal statement

Mrs Sue Berry Institute Administrator Sue joined the Stephen Young Institute for International Business as Institute Administrator in July 2025. She was previously the Executive Assistant for the Scotland 5G Centre within the EE Engineering Department of University of Strathclyde. Sue has over 15 years’ experience working for C-suite executives and international organisations. She has worked on largescale projects and programmes in private and public sectors organisations and with senior military commanders in London and Germany and was based in Europe for over 10 years. Sue obtained her Post Graduate Diploma at Bangor College. Sue will work across the full range of SYIIB’s activities including administrative matters and operational aspects of running the Institute. This includes supporting our Stephen Young Global Leader students and alumni, supporting research and teaching activities, and, organising events and outreach activities. Sue looks forward to using her extensive international business and project management experience in supporting the growth and reputation of the SYIIB and in contributing to its sustainable business goals.
