Personal statement

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Naval Architecture, Ocean, and Marine Engineering at the University of Strathclyde. My research focuses on computational fluid dynamics (CFD), life cycle assessment, ship hydrodynamics, marine renewable energy, vessel decarbonisation, and performance optimisation. I am currently working under the supervision of Professor Evangelos Boulougouris. I hold a PhD in Applied Fluid Dynamics from the University of Birmingham, with expertise in CFD, fluid–structure–seabed interaction, and sediment transport modelling. My research interests lie at the intersection of marine engineering, sustainability, and computational modelling, and I aim to contribute to the development of innovative, energy-efficient solutions for the maritime industry.
