- Lanarkshire Adult Weight Management Phase 1 is a proof-of-value R&D project designed to address rising obesity and Type 2 diabetes risk in NHS Lanarkshire. It focuses on co-designing and testing a digital pathway management solution to improve service efficiency, reduce waiting times, and support self-management. The project responds to severe capacity pressures and aims to integrate pharmacotherapy (GLP-1 medications) and lifestyle interventions within a digitally enabled service model.
