Personal statement

I’m a new member of the SCER team (Scottish Centre for Employment Studies), focused on delivering the NIHR WISHES project to trial job crafting to support the health, engagement, retention and productivity of workers with health conditions, disabilities or other workplace support needs. This involves collaborating with disabled groups and individuals, employers and key stakeholders to design and implement an impactful intervention with positive outcomes for both employees and organisations.

I am an experienced applied researcher and knowledge mobiliser, committed to designing and delivering research to have social impact. Over the last decade, I’ve worked for organisations including the Bridge Group, Working Families and Timewise and undertaken research across a range of social, educational and employment themes: rurality and geographical inequality, social mobility, part-time work and labour market equality and workplace innovation.
