Personal statement

I am a Research Fellow at the University of Strathclyde where my research interests lie in better understanding the opportunities for CO₂ geological storage in offering large-scale emissions reductions and removal of CO₂ from the atmosphere. I work on the UPTAKE project, which is a large Horizon-EU funded multi-disciplinary project focused broadly on Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) methods.

My technical background is in geoscience, and my research often involves creating geological models of the subsurface, simulating CO₂ injection and evaluating containment risks, including those posed by legacy wells.

I am also am an active contributor to the International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP), and Data Lead to Proposal 1005 (Sunda Shelf, Vietnam).
