Personal statement

Before joining the University of Strathclyde in 2006, I taught French in different parts of Europe (Poland, Wales, Netherlands, Czech Republic, France). During my university studies at the Université de Nantes, I benefited from the Erasmus+ programme, first as a student of French Modern Literature at the University of Cardiff and then as a language teaching assistant in a Welsh-speaking secondary school in Cardiff.

During my first years at Strathclyde, I worked as a tutor for the French Business unit of the Centre for Lifelong Learning on the CALS programme (Certificate in Applied Language Study) and for the then School of Modern Languages with undergraduates. In 2009, I was appointed as a part-time Teaching Associate

I am the Deputy Subject Leader in French (Sep 24 - Aug 25)

I am the French Year 2 Coordinator

I am the co-Coordinator of the Certificate of Continuing Education (CCED) in French

I am the Module Leader of:

Projects

Development of online teaching material - REAP Project: Jousseau, Murielle (Co-investigator); Project led by Michèle Dickson (Senior Lecturer in French at the University of Strathclyde)

I created online exercises for Year I & II French language classes

The REAP project, Re-engineering Assessment Practices in Higher Education, was a Scottish Higher and Further Education Funding Council-funded initiative focused on enhancing assessment and feedback practices in higher education. The project aimed to improve student learning by redesigning assessment and feedback processes to promote self-regulation and reduce teacher workload.
