Ting Liu received a Ph.D. degree in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K. Her research interests include: Breakdown characteristics investigation of SF₆, CO₂, air, and N₂ for SF₆-free power industry transition; Computational modelling and simulation of gas discharge; SF₆ leakage prediction for gas insulated switchgear and circuit breaker; Strategic asset management and maintenance schedule for national energy infrastructure; Condition monitoring and data-driven modelling for civil nuclear power generation systems; Fault detection and diagnostic modelling for mining equipment; Physics-informed prognostics for SF₆ leakage and partial discharge; Geomagnetically induced current (GIC) Impact on power transformers.
