She also engages with broader debates in comparative corporate governance and sustainability. She is very experienced in working in multidisciplinary research teams and collaborates with colleagues from multiple universities. Carolina has worked as a Research Associate at the HCESI, examining workplace practices enabling digital transformation in global manufacturing. As a Hunter Foundation Fellow, she studied how MNEs engage local stakeholders to drive innovation and circularity. Her doctoral research focused on how stakeholders influence strategy implementation in state-owned subsidiaries. Carolina currently serves as Communications Officer for the British Academy of Management SIG in International Business/International Management. Her work has been published in Public Management Review, International Public Management Journal, and International Small Business Journal.
