Research Interests
Connor has a broad research interest in energy decarbonisation and the electricity system. This includes but is not limited to:
- Spatial and temporal modelling of demand for different energy vectors.
- The role of demand flexibility in distribution network operation and planning.
- The impacts of socio-economic indicators on demand and network infrastructure to support policymakers in tackling fuel poverty.
- The use of microgrid technology for enabling resilient local energy communities.
- The application of digital twins in future power systems.
