Personal statement

I am an Evidence and Evaluation Specialist in the Centre for Excellence for Children's Care and Protection (CELCIS), University of Strathclyde. My interests focus on working with national and local children's services partners (e.g. Scottish Government, local authorities, the Care Inspectorate, and the Third Sector) to develop and implement effective ways of collating, analysing and using data and intelligence.

This report was produced in collaboration with local authorities and stakeholders in Scotland to inform the Scottish Government Children and Families Collective Leadership Group's consideration of the impact of COVID-19 on children and families. It draws on interviews with 7 Scottish local authorities and data from social work, health and the Third Sector.
