Personal statement

Rachael is a Teaching Fellow in Accounting and Finance at University of Strathclyde. Rachael’s career in accounting began at 18 with an audit scholarship at Arthur Andersen. After completing her degree, Rachael joined Deloitte and qualified as a CA with ICAS. Since then, she has worked in tax/accounting roles at Ernst & Young and Morgan Stanley, where she held senior management roles in Tax Control and Treasury Control. Rachael also has a number of years of experience teaching professional exam syllabi for ACCA, CIMA and AAT up to the final levels through time spent at BPP and Kaplan and teaching accounting degree at SLC in conjunction with the University of West of Scotland.
