Personal statement

Jack is an Assistant Engineering Technologist within the Design Engineering team at the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS). Here he is collaborating with clients on product development projects, internally advancing the Design Engineering team’s capabilities, and progressing towards becoming a chartered engineer with IMechE.

Prior to NMIS, Jack graduated from the University of Strathclyde after completing his MEng Product Design Engineering degree and worked in industry at Grove Design consultancy.
