Personal statement
I am a faculty Teaching and Learning Technology Officer (TLTO) at the University of Strathclyde Business School (SBS) in Glasgow. I originally joined SBS as a departmental TLTO, principally involved in the development of innovative online and blended learning postgraduate programmes in Marketing and International Marketing. As a faculty TLTO, my duties much more diverse, ranging from providing operational Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) advice and support to staff and students across the faculty, to helping plan and develop strategic initiatives to leverage the affordances of TEL to help ensure that the business school remains the industry leader in Scotland, and continues to be recognised for its “outstanding overall performance” throughout the UK.
