Personal statement

I am a Chancellor's Fellow and Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Political Science in the Department of Government & Public Policy, which I joined in 2020. Before moving to Glasgow, I completed a PhD at Binghamton University.

My research focuses on political representation, elite behaviour, and party politics. I use quantitative methods, including text analysis, to explore issue raising, emphasis, and adoption by political parties.

I teach Quantitative Methods at the postgraduate level and have taught a number of courses centered on political representation and party politics.
