Positions: Honorary Senior Research Fellow (Policing), Edinburgh Napier University. Associate Director and C-Chair of the Organisational Development Network, Scottish Institute for Policing Research. Associate of the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research. Research Fellow (part-time, temp), CARE-D Project, Edinburgh Napier University. Research Associate (part-time, temp), CSO Health-Criminal Justice Nexus Project, University of Strathclyde. Academic activity: I have undertake/am currently undertaking several policing-related studies regarding organisational culture and its influence on strategic change programmes; police professionalisation through Higher Education; the policing of rural Scotland during the pandemic; the impact of police and fire service collaboration on the health and wellbeing of a deprived community in Scotland; the Tutor Constable model within Police Scotland; Return Discussion regarding people living with dementia who go missing; the threats and risks faced by police officers and staff as a result of their online presence; policy formulation and its operationalisation with regards section 32 of the Police & Fire Reform (Scotland) Act 2012.
