Personal statement

I joined Strathclyde Business School in 2012 as a Lecturer in Finance. Before joining the department I held two years of lectureship position at University of Stirling. My area of research relates to determinants and implications of global portfolio diversification, trading behaviour of foreign institutional investors in emerging markets and corporate finance issues in emerging markets. My research outputs have featured in international journals like Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, and Global Finance Journal. My teachings are primarily focused on Corporate Finance, International Financial Management, and Derivatives & Treasury Management.
