Personal statement

I received my BSc (Hons) and PhD in Psychology from the University of Bristol, and MPH (specialism in Health Promotion) from the University of Manchester. I am a Chartered Psychologist (Division of Academics, Researchers and Teachers in Psychology) and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I contribute to teaching, supervision, and/or assessment on the BA Psychology, MSc Clinical Health Psychology, MSc Research Methods in Psychology, and the MSc Psychology with Specialisation in Health.

A mixed methods collaborative project exploring a Kent police initiative to reduce knife crime, that involves the use of different forms of knife imagery. The initiative focuses on the impact of the knife eagle: a model of an eagle made from seized knives.
