Personal statement

I am a Lecturer in International Management and Organisation. Before taking up the lectureship, I worked as a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Strategy and Organisation. My research interests lie in the areas of processes and practice of international collaborations with particular attention to individual and organizational identity, leadership, and trust building among collaborating partners. My broad research interests in identity, leadership and trust building also extend to other organizational contexts such as emerging market multinational corporations, public sectors, and small and medium sized enterprises.

    • Process and practice of international collaborations (joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, and partnerships)

    • Cross cultural management

I teach across the areas of international business, management, and professional skills development. My current teaching includes: Managing Inter-Organisational Partnerships and Alliances (MBA – Open Learning); Professional Management Practice (MIM & MFM); Managing Across Cultures (MIM); Managing Across Cultures and Frontiers (UG – 3rd year); International Business Analysis (UG – 2nd year). I am experienced in supervising postgraduate and PhD students.
