Strathclyde Sport is a HYROX-affiliated training centre, offering dedicated spaces, equipment and training support to help you prepare for race day, or simply train with purpose.

HYROX combines functional fitness, endurance and strength into one of the world’s fastest-growing indoor fitness competitions. Whether you’re training for your first HYROX event or looking to sharpen your performance, our facility gives you the tools to do it properly. There are multiple divisions, making HYROX accessible whether you’re new to functional training or competing at a higher level.

As a HYROX-affiliated gym, our setup includes:

  • Race-specific equipment including sleds, wall balls and functional rigs
  • Access to a timetable of Hyrox themed classes
  • Support from experienced coaches in a performance-led environment
  • Train alongside students, staff and public members in a facility built for progression

The Hyrox Zone

Our HYROX training zone brings together all the key stations you’d expect in a race-style workout, including sled push and pull, rowing, wall balls, lunges, farmer’s carry, burpee broad jumps and functional strength equipment. It’s designed to support structured HYROX-style training and high-intensity sessions. Whether you’re following a programme, training for your first event or mixing up your gym routine, it’s a versatile space to train.
