Applying for accommodation
International students on an exchange programme can apply for University accommodation via the accommodation portal.
Occupancy agreement
There are three accommodation contract lengths available to Exchange students:
- Semester 1 only - September to December (14 weeks)
- Semester 2 only - January to June (22 weeks)
- Full academic year - September to June (39 weeks).
These contract lengths may not be changed.
Accommodation Offer
Offers of accommodation will be sent by email in December (to students coming in Semester 2).

Update for Exchange Students arriving in January 2023
Due to exceptional demand, we are unfortunately unable to guarantee University accommodation for visiting exchange students. We would strongly encourage you to begin exploring alternative options within the private sector. The Exchange Team has contacted applicants directly with further advice and guidance.
