Guidance & disability support
Adult guidance
The Centre for Lifelong Learning provides an impartial, free and confidential guidance service offering information and learning support to help you when choosing our classes or returning to study.
To request an informal discussion or to arrange a meeting, please get in touch, by telephone on 0141 548 2116 or by email at learn-cll@strath.ac.uk.
Do you have a disability which affects your learning?
At the Centre for Lifelong Learning, we're committed to promoting and improving opportunities for students with disabilities. We therefore welcome registrations from those who have any needs which may affect their learning. The Graham Hills Building, (40 George Street), is suitable for wheelchair access and is served by ramps and lifts to all floors. All rooms in the centre are equipped with an Induction Loop Hearing System. Teaching methods are as flexible as possible to ensure a positive learning experience for students.
Our Departmental Disability Contact, David Pettigrew (telephone 0141 548 2362 or email guidance-cll@strath.ac.uk) is available for an informal discussion on how we can assist you to make your learning experience as rewarding as possible. All discussions are treated confidentially.
We ask that you make any declaration at the time of enrolment in the relevant section of your MyCLL profile. If you do so, David will contact you directly by telephone or email.
If you are a returning student, please ensure that you update your MyCLL profile if you develop a disability or if a previous declaration no longer applies.
