Graduate & Degree ApprenticeshipsDegree Apprenticeships

Degree Apprenticeships are for business based or who have a presence in England, with apprenticeships funded through the Education & Skills Funding Agency.

At Strathclyde, our industrial focus and external engagement provides an unparalleled foundation for apprenticeship degrees of the highest standard.

We deliver carefully designed programmes that suit the needs of both the learner and the employer. Our Degree Apprenticeship programmes are mapped to the apprenticeship standards developed and approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education.

As funding is managed through the Education & Skills Funding Agency, and distributed using the Digital Apprenticeship Service, employers have the flexibility to choose the institution(s) to deliver their Degree Apprenticeship programmes and work with them directly.

ESFA funding is  available to those employees who are domiciled in England for a minimum of 50% of their time, however this model offers Strathclyde the opportunity to be a UK-wide provider of both Graduate and Degree Apprenticeship programmes supporting UK-wide employee development.

For Apprentices: A Degree Apprenticeship at University of Strathclyde is a job combined with a university degree and will offer you the key skills, qualifications and experience required to develop your career further by combining full time paid work, on the job training and off the job funded university study.
